Calling all gamer girls and female-identifying student in grades 6-12 to join the Maydm team to meet and chat with Ms. Beloit and video game trailblazer Angelica Chapman- Sykes!
Come and join us at the Maydm office on December 9th ( 10am- 12pm), to meet with Angelica via live stream so you can have the opportunity to:
- Hear her story as a young black woman carving a successful career in the gaming industry
- Get the chance to ask her questions about female empowerment in gaming and the STEM fields
- Join other students to play video games with Angelica on live stream (via Twitch at Maydm Twitch Stream). Play Apex Legends you will need to make an Epic Games account.
- Get together with other girls and make new gamer friends
Our facilities are located at: 203 S Paterson St Suite 400 Madison, WI 53703
We will provide morning snacks for all students (because no one should play video games on an empty stomach!) We will also provide access to gaming computers. Participants will be able to play Apex Legends in a private match.
