Web Development - Make Something the Internet Will Notice!
Navigate the world behind the websites and apps you use every day. In this hands-on program, you'll explore how the internet works—from domains and hosting to front-end and back-end development. You'll try out different coding tools, learn how to wireframe and plan layouts, experiment with templates, design choices, and accessibility features, and investigate how AI can be a tool for developers. Throughout the class, you’ll get space to follow your interests, be creative, and build a final web project that reflects your own ideas.
Next-Gen Scholar is for youth who will be going into 7th - 10th grade in Fall 2026. (Maydm offers this same for girls and girl-identifying youth as well! Check out Femme Scholar).
