If you are a middle school student, STEM Power is the place to begin your Maydm journey! This program combines popular technology topics in STEM with fun projects and allows you to be creative while learning and building your tech skills.
Programming basics with block coding: Build coding skills quickly while learning programming structures.
Game Development: Learn to create arcade-style games, and program game controls and rules. Design pixel art and animation, music, and storytelling with games.
3D Printing from design to object: Design and manufacturing, precision, computer-aided design
Robotics and Electronics: Building, troubleshooting, and programming robots.
STEM Power is for youth who will be going into 6th - 8th grade in Fall 2026.
(Maydm offers this same for girls as well! Check out STEMinism).
STEMinism and STEM Power are introductory classes, and the topics and activities are similar each summer. If your student has attended this program before, you may consider registering for one of our other programming options this summer.
